Always my own
For the record, the thoughts and opinions on this site, are strictly my own - and although I never pursued Journalism as a field of work, nor do I passionately write on the regular but I will say this, I never forgot the rules.
1. NEVER EVER copy someone elses' work. Not even for fun or a joke. You may use reference and obviously give credit where it is due, but NEVER take someones' stuff and make it your own. It's just pathetic and sad and truthfully it's stupid as hell. It just shows laziness and the inability to do something. It happens ALL the time.
2. Always know what you are talking about. Don't make things up. Making things up causes problems..
3. always stay current, know what's happening in the world and around you, you don't have to know everything about everything but just enough that you can have qualitative conversation with multiple levels of individuals.
There are many more, but the fundamentals above basically are like 'rhetorical' in a sense yet somehow, people can't remember that? I get a high school kid trying to scam on an essay (in which they actually check those as well for copyright infringement...) but grown adults? Corporations? What is this world coming to, where's your sense of self-worth and honour -silly dinks!
Anyways, that's not really the reason why I was writing today. IT was just a random rant I wanted to add...I just wanted to share this video:

Still not so commited I guess
I find that over the past 9 months, I've gotten into this crazy slump.
I'm watching a TON of television and just loaf-ting.
Meh, I'm slowly working my way out of it.
I happened to check out the location that I would like to use for our wedding yesterday and man it was absolutely stunning. Very quaint but I fear that it's a little small for the volume of guests that we will have. Either way, I loved it. Hopefully it works out.
Yay! amazing.

Woo! Day 1 NEW ME!
I'm back!
Day 1.
It can be done!
lets be honest, I didn't want to pursue writing in this blog for a while. I renewed the domain name and did nothing about it. The reason is because I know in my heart that I am supposed to write, not sit here and watch tv daily...
Here's a harsh truth, and one that I actually am going to write down right now...I've almost gained every pound back. (yup!)...here's the weird thing though - it doesn't feel that way and I guess it doesn't look that way either. I'm ok with that. I know what I have to do and what it takes to do it, I know the road is sometimes a little trialing but it's time. I have a goal afterall, I have a wedding dress to fit into and I already have it, and I know where I have to be in order to fit into it...so IM ON IT!
Which means...no baking. or minimal baking :( (and only for when we go to other peoples' so that way I don't have see it or bring it home)
Is it easy...never. Did I fall off the horse, you're damn right. Am I getting back up now...yes. A little bruised, but getting up there.

What's worse
Ok so I over estimated and I wasnt really wrong but surprised.
Let me tell you rule number 1 in my books, if you have plans to start,
You start - don't stop and then re-start. It's horrible to your self confidence, believe me.
I'm not saying I'm going to fly off a bridge but definitely feeling kinda shitty . Meh, lesson learned start tomorrow

Surprise, I'm back.
So I go through these phases where I REALLY want to blog, get home and forget about what I wanted to write and then continue about my day.
I've been baking more often, eating more often and forgetting more often. It's an 'you are what you eat scenerio' I suppose. I can't remember what I'm eating, so I can't remember anything - yes. It's sad.
I've switched locations of the doctor and will see him(her?) tomorrow evening, little excited, kinda nervous and anxious all at the same time. It will be nice to start over.
In other news check out this guys site: http://bigmanshrinking.com/ actually really nice and good to know there are others out there. (real, not 'bots' or fake shit)
I wont' say "until tomorrow" bu tI will say, until I remember and re-blog again!

Why are people collectors?
I have a question. I'm not sure if anyone can answer this but I really want to know why people collect things? Is there a mental explanation to this. Like why they have "collections" of things. If I had to say I collect something, it's books. I have things here and there but I don't actually collect things. In my opinion, and sorry if it's offensive, I actually think it's kind of weird.
I was watching pawnathon Canada - which by the way, is a pretty cool show because it also gives Canadian history. Not often do we get a show that does that but there were two women on there that collect Michael Jackson memorabilia and it's kind of gross. I mean the dust, and the junk and then what do you distinguish as "good" and "not good" and eventually you are borderline hording and then you are hording and then it's crazy. So why do people collect?
There's a line from the movie Money never sleeps in which Michael Douglas says, when asked if he collects expensive paintings: “No. Only the obsessive-compulsive and the insecurely egotistical feel the need to collect things.”
Do you agree with this statement?
